Sew white top to stocking. Repeat for the second stocking side.
Sew down white face with an applicae or running stitch and white thread.
Lay the eye pieces down and create the eyes with black embroidery floss and a french knots.
To attach nose you make need to cut your felt, to do this fold and slowly cut a small hole where the nose will be.

Add sloth back and overcast stitch around the sides and top with matching thread.

Stitch arms to stocking with matching thread. Add nails if desired. I used embroidery floss here but I prefer just a few stands of a plain white thread.
Stitch sloth body to the top of the arms.
Match back stocking to front and overcast stitch along the outside with matching thread. Stuffing lightly as you go. Run a stitch through the entire piece with white thread at the top of the white stocking top to secure the body to the back.
